Mary A. Etter Dissinger
Mary graduated from Dickinson College and Capital University Law School. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and all Pennsylvania county and state courts, the United States District Court, Middle District, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mary is a member of several professional associations. She is a Past President of the Perry County Bar Association, has co-chaired the Civil Rules Committee and the Fee Dispute Committee, and served on the Family Law Committee. She also has been appointed Guardian ad litem to represent children before the Court in Perry County.
Mary has been active in a variety of community organizations. She is proud of her past service as President of the Marysville Lioness Club, President and Board Member of the Marysville Rye Library, Trustee of Winebrenner Theological Seminary, and a member of the Constitutional Committee of the Pennsylvania Council of Churches. She has served as a Trustee of the University of Findlay, Findlay, Ohio.
Mary has written and published various legal articles.
William C. Dissinger
Bill graduated from Dickinson College cum laude and the Dickinson School of Law. While in law school, he served on the editorial staff of the Dickinson Law Review. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and all Pennsylvania county and state courts, and the United States District Court, Middle District.
Bill is a member of various professional and community organizations, including the Marysville Lions Club (as well as serving as a past President) and the Marysville Fire Company. He previously served two years as President of the Perry County Bar Association and has been a member since starting practice in 1978.
Bill has written and published several legal articles including a newsletter for municipalities on current issues, cases and legislation.
Alexis McConville
Alexis received her B.A. from Dickinson College. She is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, where she was awarded the Paul J. Gitnik Scholarship in 2005. She also received her Master’s of Business Administration from Duquesne University. While in law school, Alexis was a certified legal intern with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office.
Prior to joining the firm, she was the Director of Graduate Programs and Corporate Relations for Duquesne University and a University Instructor. Alexis taught Enterprise Risk Management and a Career Practicum. Not only did Alexis teach graduate students, but at Duquesne, she represented the School of Business’s offerings and graduate students as an asset to the business community.
Alexis brings not only her criminal background experience to this practice but her educational experience and her skills as a human resource professional in private industry. She has represented employers at hearings and has represented employees in employment, worker’s compensation and the many aspects that go with those field.
